Emirates has launched a new offer to lessen the workload at the airport check-in counters in Dubai and offers bonus Tier miles for those that utilize Emirates City Check‑in and Travel Store in ICD Brookfield Place.
Eligible Skywards members can check in at the City Check-in facility 24 to 4 hours before the scheduled flight and check their bags too. Do not check in online if you wish to earn the Tier miles bonus.

Note that the T&Cs state that this Tier miles bonus is ONE-TIME only. It seems that you cannot utilize it for multiple trips.
Tier Miles Bonus Per Skywards Level:
- 5,000 Bonus Tier Miles – Blue & Silver Members
- 10,000 Bonus Tier Miles – Gold Members
- 30,000 Bonus Tier Miles – Platinum Members

This is an excellent offer if you had been able to use it multiple times, but at least the T&Cs limit it to just once.

You must check in at Emirates City Check‑in and Travel Store located at ICD Brookfield Place, Dubai International Financial Centre, DIFC (the “Eligible Activity”); upon completion of check‑in, a one‑time bonus of Tier Miles will be credited to your membership account.
This Offer of bonus Tier Miles will be awarded on any Emirates tickets that otherwise qualify for earning Tier Miles as under the Skywards Programme Rules.
This Offer will only be automatically posted in cases where the Skywards membership number is added to the Emirates booking prior to check‑in or at check‑in.
